New Delhi, Aug 26: Iranian media was triumphant on Friday. “Victorious” was written in many Persian synonyms in various government-aligned newspapers. “Knock the Dollar” heralded Tehran Times, the English media organ of the ruling Ayatollahs. Others called for shunning the yoke of the IMF, World Bank, and crippling sanctions. “Isolation ends” and “US Imperialism bites the dust” was the message of an editorial in another pro-government Persian broadsheet.
