Tihar jail inmates land jobs


New Delhi: At a special campus placement activity 14 Tihar Jail inmates land up receiving job letters from private firms. As many as 46 candidates were interviewed by eight companies, out of whom 14 got selected in the final round. Others are also enthusiastic of getting through some companies in next couple of days. The appointment letter not only assured them of earning a livelihood for themselves but it also provided them a pleasure of earning a decent reputation in the society as well.

Among the companies, who came for the exceptional placements was Agrawal packers and movers. Agarwal Packers and Movers picked up seven inmates for positions such as marketing executive, assistant manager, supervisor and data entry operator. Vedanta Foundation and Good House Keeping recruited two inmates each.
