Shane Watson bags Allan Border Medal

Melbourne: Australian all-rounder Shane Watson won his second successive Allan Border Medal after he was declared the Test and one-day player of the year.

The Age reported that Watson claimed the Allan Border Medal by 100 votes from Mike Hussey. Mitchell Johnson was a further two votes behind in third place. Watson, however, missed the Twenty20 player of the year, running second to David Hussey.
