One of the first designers to debut a more casual secondary collection, Isaac Mizrahi launched his economically priced (and named) line, Isaac, in January of 1996. Modeling his under-$300 clean-tailored trench dresses, color-blocked knits, and boyfriend blazers is a barely-legal, blunt-banged Liv Tyler, whose film career would take off later that year in Stealing Beauty and That Thing You Do (Tom Hanks’ directorial debut).
