Nevada: A US cat has broken the Guinness world record for the world’s longest domestic cat. Stewie, a five-year-old Maine Coon cat, was certified as the new record holder after measuring 48.5 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail.
His owners, Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness of Reno, Nevada, said they decided to try for the record after hearing people say they were amazed by Stewie’s length. Stewie was certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s longest domestic cat. The record was previously held by another cat that measured 48 inches.
