Indian women beat West Indies team by 10 runs


Rajkot: Experienced Mithali Raj`s unbeaten 109 and fine bowling displayed by Indian spinners Diana David, Gouhar Sultana and Priyanka Roy helped India beat West Indies by ten runs in the fourth ODI and also leveled the five match series.

Batting first India made 216 losing only four wickets and then restricted West Indies at 206 in 49.5 overs.

Mithali Raj played anchor role making 109 off 106 balls with twelve fours and was supported well by opener Poonam Raut, who also contributed 62 that came off 127 balls with two fours.
