New Delhi, Oct 2 (IANSlife) Harnaaz Sandhu from Chandigarh is the winner of LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021, Ritika Khatnani from Pune is LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2021 and Sonal Kukreja from Jaipur was crowned LIVA Miss Diva 2021 — 1st runner-up at the 9th edition of LIVA Miss Diva 2020.
The grand finale featured performances by actress Malaika Arora, and singers Sukriti and Prakriti Kakar. Sachin Kumbhar lightened the mood with his witty one-liners that helped keep the mood light as anxious contestants waited for the final crowning moment. The judges included well-known celebrities like actress Kriti Sanon, singer Kanika Kapoor, billiards and snooker player Pankaj Advani, who is a 23-time world champion and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, filmmaker and writer for films like Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi, among others.
Despite the fear of the pandemic, LIVA Miss Diva 2021 co-powered by MX TakaTak and Kailon, went ahead with the motto that the show must go on giving aspiring divas an opportunity to apply from the comfort of their homes. In a new dynamic format, the pageant continues its tradition of finding that one girl who will revolutionise the definition of beautiful, confident and will whole-heartedly aim to extend support to the new generation of women who has the potential to lead and represent the country.
Earlier this year, the pageant announced a nationwide hunt to select representatives from across the country where aspirant divas could participate to transform their dreams to reality. The selection process of these finalists entailed an online registration process inviting specific audition task submissions on India’s leading short video platform — MX TakaTak, post which the aspiring divas were shortlisted to Top 20. Thereafter, the shortlisted 20 finalists underwent rigorous training and grooming and were revealed on September 22 at the St. Regis in Mumbai.
