At the ‘Luck’ Press Meet
At the press meet of her début movie, ‘Luck’, Shruti Hassan opted for fierce casuals over prim-and-propah formals. And, boy did she wear them well. She wore uber distressed blue denims and a black vest with a embroidered neckline which she accessorized with a bulbous heart shaped pendant that she wore on a long chain, a multi-strap studded wrist cuff and the drool inducing Aldo Parrin Pumps. I don’t often like the ripped jeans look, but this spunky lady does wear it well. As for the cut-out booties, they pushed this look from an above average to awesome. Also, the poker-straight fringed hair and the doll-like makeup work with this look. Very rocker chic.
At the ‘Luck’ Game Website Launch
Shruti seems to be working the ‘all black with a single pop of bright colour’ look in this outfit. At the Luck game website launch, she wore a black separates that she teamed with a black cocktail ring, a metallic bracelet and the Lacau Peep-Toe Pumps from Aldo. (Could this Canadian shoe brand known for its runway knock-offs be a personal favourite? Or does this budding fashionista just like getting the biggest bang for her buck? Whatever, the shoes are awesome!) While the look does work, I wish she had opted for a LBD instead of separates.
At the ‘Alice In Wonderland’ Première
Shruti wore an strapless body-con sheath dress from Mango for the ‘Alice In Wonderland’ premiere. She paired the dress with peep-toe stilettos that had bows perched on them, a thick black bangle and a slouchy black clutch. She wore her hair casually tousled, and her makeup was minimal. Everything works well together, and she looks great, BUT. This outfit is so very meh. None of the chutzpah, none of the spark. Is this young débutante finally starting to conform? Hope not!!
