If that wasn’t all, she has actually left behind everyone from Priyanka Chopra and Kendall Jenner to Emma Watson and Emma Stone on the list! Of course the fans of both Indian actresses on the list have enough reasons to celebrate. The exact place PeeCee gained is, however, unknown.
The Hot 100 list by MAXIM, the international men’s magazine, was based on the results of a global poll conducted by them. “Over a million votes later, here’s a little sneak peek at our No. 1 on the #MaximHot100! Stick around for more 😉 #MaximIndia #DPForMaxim,” the magazine tweeted.
Deepika celebrated this little victory by posting a picture of her from the magazine’s photoshoot. The picture already has more than 70,000 likes from her fans across the world.
Considering the fact that Deepika has become a well-loved face globally–thanks to her role in the recent xXx movie, and her appearances at the MET Gala and Cannes–this sort of recognition definitely bodes well for the actress.
