Mumbai: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s rumored wedding is on schedule, with a new report providing further details about their upcoming nuptials. It was previously reported that Deepika and Ranveer will tie the knot in a private ceremony in Italy’s Lake Como on November 20.
According to a SpotboyE report, a grand puja will be organized 10 days before the wedding in Deepika’s hometown, Bangalore, which will be followed by a lavish reception in Mumbai expected to be attended by the couple’s Bollywood friends. A source close to the Padukones has told SpotboyE that a Nandi Puja will be held at their Bangalore residence, and that Deepika’s mother Ujjala has spoken to a Nandi Temple about arranging priests for the puja.
A source had previously confirmed to Filmfare that the wedding date had been confirmed. “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalized Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place,” a source told the magazine.
