Shilpa Shetty: From Tamil Nadu, Shilpa Shetty (June 8, 1975) journeyed to Mumbai, in hopes of a successful acting career in a predominately Punjabi dominated industry. Her big break was Baazigar (1993), with new comers Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Before entering the film industry, she spent six years as a Bharatanatyam dancer, which explains her amazing dance moves. After taking part in the British Celebrity Big Brother TV show in 2007, she was crowned the winner with 63 percent of the final vote. 2007 proved to be Shetty’s most successful year at the box-office so far. Her first release, Life In A… Metro, won a significant reception, and became the first Bollywood movie to premiere at Leicester Square. Her second release, alongside three Deols, Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, the drama Apne, was also a box-office success.
Why she’s sexy: She is sexy because she’s 5’10”, an ex-model and has an amazing body, which most women spend hours at the gym to obtain. She is also hotter than most South Indian food!

Interesting fact: Shetty’s younger sister Shamita Shetty is also a Bollywood actress. They worked together once in the film Fareb (2005). She married Raj Kundra in 2009. In February 2009, Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra, became part owners of the Indian Premier League franchise cricket team “Rajasthan Royals.”
