The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel is the place for Indian brides and grooms to take their vows

The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, located in downtown Baltimore, is the perfect location for Indian weddings. From vibrant attire and brilliant colors to celebrations that last for days, it knows that having a handle on cultural standards and exceeding service expectations is crucial to pulling off a seamless magical event to remember.

“One of the benefits Indian couples appreciate when they take their vows at our beautiful hotel is our authentic Tandoor oven, preparing traditional mouthwatering masterpieces for reception meals of great taste,” says Sherri Griffis, Director of Catering at the downtown Baltimore location. “And, with the ability to customize upscale events for up to 3,000 people, a staff versed in the art of Indian customs and strong relationships with South Asian vendors throughout Baltimore and the surrounding region, we can offer Indian couples easy access to everything they may need for their special occasion.”

Another of the hotel’s draws is its talented Chef Santhosh Arangamparambil.
“We only use the highest quality ingredients for our brides and grooms, including pure desi ghee (traditional Indian clarified butter), as well as fresh exotic spices ground by hand in our kitchen,” explains Arangamparambil, with passion in his eyes.

Chef Santhosh  Arangamparambil started his culinary career in Chenai (Madras) South India, with Madras Culinary Institute. From there, he joined the biggest hotel chain in India today, The Taj Group. He is joined in the kitchen at The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel by a team of esteemed Indian Chefs, ensuring the food at each event is prepared to perfection.

The hotel’s skilled catering and service teams work closely with Arangamparambil’s kitchen to execute each family’s distinctive desires. From a sit-down, family-style feast for 550 guests served table-side in warmed copper pots to more lavish affairs, they are accustomed to personalizing and do it with ease.
While The Baltimore Waterfront Marriott Hotel is known for its first-class service and one-of-a-kind menu offerings, it also offers couples a total of 80,000 square feet of space including a 19,285-square-foot ballroom and a 14,313-square-foot Harborside Ballroom, both boasting views of the harbor and the city of Baltimore. Nothing captures a bride’s heart like a breathtaking water view for those once-in-a-lifetime wedding photos. Except, of course, her groom!
