Chandigarh, April 30 (IANS) The Haryana government here on Thursday decided to ban purchase of new vehicles by it, except buses for public transport and vehicles used for emergency responses, in this financial year (FY21). A decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. In case of urgent need of a new vehicle, outsourcing or hiring of the vehicle should be resorted to rather than the purchase, it decided.
