JMM eyes 13 of 14 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 polls

Dhanbad: Former Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren on July 24 said his party is ready to win 13 out of 14 seats in the 2019 Parliamentary elections. “Preparations are on to achieve our target in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” Soren told media persons here.
Soren also accused the state government of ignoring the interests of lakhs of residents of Dhanbad by closing the Chandrapura rail track and causing mass unemployment in the area. “People are compelled to migrate to different parts of the country in search of livelihood,” he said.
Referring to recent reports of Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS), the JMM leader alleged that Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) never wanted a solution to the underground fire in the area.
