Jackie Chan in Mumbai: Actor promotes ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ with co-stars Sonu Sood, Disha Patani & Amyra Dastur

Mumbai: Jackie Chan was overwhelmed to get a traditional Maharashtrian welcome upon his arrival in Mumbai. He spent the day recording a special episode of The Kapil Sharma Show before heading out to attend the promotional event of his upcoming film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ organized at popular Mumbai hotel. Jackie and team were welcomed to dhol beats.

Jackie Chan made a stylish entry on the stage in a vintage open car and greeted the media with a Namaste. The actor joined the team including director Stanley Tong, Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur. The actor didn’t bat an eyelid as he shook a leg with Disha on stage.

The event was hosted by none other than Bollywood’s very own yoga expert Shilpa Shetty who welcomed the action hero on stage, flexing her muscles. Shilpa highlighted that Jackie has a career spanning around 56 years and has always inspired her. She went on to say that she loves his films because they “do not have blood-shed despite having so much action.”

Jackie Chan said, “I don’t do yoga but I practice martial arts as I expect it to be a faster version of yoga. Since yoga is trending so we have ‘Kung Fu Yoga’.”

On being asked what keeps him motivated, Jackie Chan said, “It’s you. Really. I do get scared when I go to my office and see the letters from around the world. What can I do? The only thing I can do is every year I make different kind of movies, different kind of comedy, different kind of action; that’s my best present to all those fans around the world. He added, “I don’t know for how many years I can continue doing this but I will do it for as long as I can.”
