HRD Ministry should not budge from stand

One hopes that universities like Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge and MIT will set up campuses across India. This will benefit Indian students who want to study in these institutions but are not in a position to go abroad because of financial problems. The government should, however, ensure that foreign institutions offer education at affordable costs.
If that is not done, it will not serve any purpose. The condition that quota laws will not be applicable is a positive move as merit will be the sole criterion for entry into these institutions.
